Jeff serves as our ward clerk and works at a compounding pharmacy in Duchesne, UT. It is quite a commute but we’re grateful for the way he provides for our family. Stephanie serves in the YW presidency and as ward organist. She has been teaching more music classes and fewer White House Academy classes while taking every opportunity to play with granddaughters!
Benjamin works at Lowe’s while his wife, Sierra, takes care of their two girls. Sierra is an amazing seamstress, crochet artist, and cosplay designer. Thea (almost 5) loves preschool and wishes it were every day. Evelynn (almost 3) loves dinosaurs and her sister. Their parents feel like they will have life all together as soon as they master potty and sleep training.
Rachel and her husband Derek moved to Vernal right after graduating from BYU-I last December. Derek is the 1st/2nd grade teacher at White House Academy. The two of them enjoy hosting a booth at renaissance fairs during the summer where they sell Derek’s handmade whips.
Daniel is a junior at BYU-I majoring in Exercise Physiology. He works as a package handler for FedEx and doesn’t get to come home for the holidays, so we packed up the presents and took Christmas to him. We played games, watched movies, and ate too much. It was the first trip we’ve taken together in more than a year and will provide memories and laughs for years to come.
Emma is a senior at Uintah High, alternating between senioritis and futurephobia. She’s our ward chorister and in the YW class presidency. She was in the high school production of Anastasia and sings with two excellent choirs. She is our most extroverted introvert and loves all her friends.
Joseph also loves choir and the social opportunities they provide. He is a sophomore, turning 16 in less than 90 days. He can’t wait to be a priest, get his drivers license, and go to high school dances!
