Echo's bedtime story

Echo likes dad to tell her a bedtime story each night. Usual ones like little red ridding hood, three little pigs, hansel and gretle. So last night Echo wanted to tell us a story.  It went a little like this...

Once upon a time there was a cowboy and he lost the trail. He looked everywhere but the cowboy and his horse couldn't find the trail. Maybe it was in the hallway? Or maybe left or maybe right? (Keep in mind Echo LOVES to talk with her hands, lots of big gestures) 

But then they found it! And as they were riding down the trail the cowboy found a big juicy watermelon and he ate it all up because he was STARVInG! 

And then a BIG.BAD.SCARECROW was chasing them. And the Big bad wolf helped the big bad scarecrow chase the cowboy all over. And then the big bad wolf ATE the cowboy ALL GONE!

Here are a few clips from Showtime Uintah, a musical production that Rachel was just in. I'm sorry about the quality, but the cameraman (Daniel) is really inexperienced and the sound man (some high school student) must be pretty inexperienced, also.

4th of July in Ten Sleep

We had a fun 4th in Ten Sleep.  It started with a parade in the morning where the boys scored big on the candy (it's an election year).  We then went inner tubing down the creek in the afternoon.  Then caught fire flies and watched fire works at night.

We went to Grandma's to celebrate her actual birthday on Friday, May 16th.  She still doesn't know about the suprize party next week.  We are looking forward to seeing most of you then.

A Goat!

So we got a goat...  She's a dairy goat...  She's two weeks old...  Ronan loves her...

           

When she's weaned off the bottle we'll probably give her away to someone with more space who wants a dairy goat (Stephanie H.?  Hailey C.? Anne L.?)  Or give her to my coworker who has a goat heard.

First lost tooth!

Lorenzo lost his first tooth this morning.  We didn't even know it was loose until this morning when he started to cry because it hurt when he was eating his cinnamon roll for breakfast.  He was quite upset/scared about it at first.  But he was very brave and asked me to pull it out and let me do it without flinching.
