Caught orange handed...
Echo came trotting through the living room today. It wasn't until I saw the orange footsteps following her that I knew something was wrong.
Diet orange soda mix( some make your own soda machine that the previous owners left) is the culprit. One serious scrub session later and her feet are still orange. Her orange footsteps might forever remind the owners of our presence

They don't know they're beautiful!
Special Needs
It's happened. I am a mother of a special needs kid. More specifically a special food needs kid, or a special 'don't eat this food' needs kid.
Echo is allergic to peanuts.
We have been issued EpiPens for life saving emergencies. Is she deathly allergic to peanuts? We don't know. Probably not. But definitely allergic enough to alert all family and caregivers of her new 'go with her everywhere pens' that are to be used if peanut ingestion occurs.
So if you ever find yourself babysitting this beautiful blonde remember NO PB&J

Coconut Milk Rolls
To make these yummy rolls create your favorite rolls and let them raise in a pan. After they have raised pour over a mixture of the following ingredients. Mix until smooth.
3/4 cup sugar
3 table spoons all-purpose flour
1can (13.5 oz) coconut milk (not cream of coconut)
1/2 cup coconut (optional)
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

What to wear...
1- double layered stocking cap
2 - two hoodies (hoods worn in the up position)
3 - Hogwarts scarf (warming spells not included)
4 - mittens (except you can't wear these while doing the actual milking)
5 - full-length insulated coveralls
6 - overalls
7 - muck boots with cracks in the bottom (cracks don't leak because any moisture is already frozen solid)
8 - two pairs of thick wool socks
(Please note the drips of milk on the boots and coveralls that doesn't melt until it has been in the house for at least 5 minutes.)

Balloons
Our subdivision was greeted with 5 hot air balloons this morning. One landed just down the street from our house. They said they got hit with a gust of air and had to make a quick landing. They stated that they were teaching students from Taiwan how to operate the balloons.

Sledding!
Friday afternoon was a perfect day for sledding. Camden and Charlize would never have stopped if the sun hadn't gone down! Grandma Marcia braved the hill with them, since I am unable to do anything fun for 7 months or so. Camden only got plowed over once, and Cobey and Charlize only suffered minimal injuries. They are ready to go sledding again today!
