Hi family,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been offered and have accepted a job with Strata Energy, a uranium mining company, in Oshoto, Wyoming.  I will be their GIS/Database Specialist and will start on July 15th.  Oshoto isn't really a town, we'll be living in Moorcroft, Hulet, or Sundance; we'll see where we find a house.  The job site is 12 miles (as the crow flies) from Devil's Tower.  It's a new company; they haven't started mining yet.  They are waiting to get their last license from the Nuclear Regulatory office, but they expect to start operations in January.

Bryce Canyon

We took Grandma to Bryce Canyon Nationial Park.  She really enjoyed it and walked along the rim enjoying the view.  She and Grandpa used to go to Bryce Canyon quite often.  

Mini Vacation

We had a whirlwind of a weekend.  I had a job interview 12 miles from Devil's Tower so we decided to all go and make it a mini vacation.  We drove to Gillette Thursday night, played in the hotel pool Friday morning then drove to Devil's Tower.  We then went to my interview (all seemed to go well there...) then continued on to Ten Sleep where we helped brand on Saturday.  Here are a few pics from the weekend.

We got two ducklings and one chick. The ducks are growing much faster than the chick and they act like parents to it!

Dino 1/2 Marathon in Vernal

We had a fun weekend in Vernal with cousins.  We went so Brittany and Lorenzo could run the 1/2 marathon and 1/2 mile races.  Brittany won her age group like a boss knocking 19 minutes off her personal record with a time of 1:43:32.  Zo finished his 1/2 mile race in 5:28.  Zo was really excited to run the race with his cousins Emma and Joseph.  Here is a picture of all the medalists.

Cello Wars Choreography

Joseph was watching Piano Guys videos the other day and Emma came in and they started making up a dance to it. It was so well choreographed I couldn't help "spy" recording!
