Sarah's back yard
Here are a few pictures of the many birds I feed.
I love watching them and so do all the cats in the neighborhood.
This is a baby water snake that tried killing me when I was feeding the birds.

Park
We took Megan to the park last night and she ran up to it yelling "my park, my park, my park" she then stop at the edge of the park and threw her hands out to the side and yells "I'm here" to all the kids as if the party could start now that she has arrived.

The Mask
I went with dad to his doctor's appointment today. He was getting everything set up for his radiation that will start next Wednesday. He will have 30 treatments, ending August 1st, assuming everything goes well.
In order to get the radiation right where it needs to be in his mouth and neck he has to have his head in the exact same spot each time. So they made this mask that fits his face perfectly out of a hi-tech plastic. It started out as a white sheet of plastic with holes in it, about 3 mm thick. They heated it in boiling water for several minutes until it turned translucent. Then they took it out of the water, pulled it down over his face, screwed it to the table, and formed it to his features. When it was shaped they fanned it off to cool and harden it. Totally fascinating!

Yard Sale
We had what seems to be an annual event at my house again- a yard sale. It was pretty successful since there were at least 3 other yard sales in our neighborhood at the same time. That really brought in the people.
Remember this couch?
This and my kitchen table and chairs sold before 8 o'clock.
It's going back to Idaho of all places :-).
Thanks Spencer and Brittany for all your help!

I bought an egg coloring kit at Easter but we ended up coloring eggs at Grandmas so we never used it. I pulled it out for the kids to do today and Joseph took over. He has spent more than an hour coloring 14 eggs.
At least 100 times a day I hear Joseph say, "mom look", "look mom", "come see". I was getting extremely annoyed but then I looked at the other end of my child spectrum and that kid doesn't tell us anything. We don't usually know he has a solo until we are at the concert. He doesn't bother to tell me I need to sign a form for school until I'm out of town. I don't think he would have told me he got pulled over for speeding unless I had passed him and seen it! So I'm trying to enjoy being wanted and included when I can be!
