Meow

Someone's cat came to visit us the other night. Echo was in heaven. She still looks for him anytime we go outside and calls "meow meow." If only her dad was a cat person...

ER Visit

On the last day of Daniel's 50-mile hike he tripped while walking through a river. He landed with his wrist bent back against a trekking pole. The ER doctor who is a scout leader with them said might be fractured so we ought to have it x-rayed.

So after he got home And after be showered and after he napped for 2 hours and after we had a rare dinner with our whole family we took him to the ER. There is a small fracture right on the growth plate on his thumb. He is in sort of a semi-cast for 3 weeks.

It's not too painful but Daniel says his fingers are already short enough. He doesn't want to take any chances with their growth! ; )

Cowabunga Baby!

Here is one of the 100 pictures Joseph and Emma took while hw waited for us to finidh our food at the Thai restaurant Friday might. (Photography may not be his best art firm.)

And this is from the waterside we went to in SLC yesterday with Sarah and Stacy. The weather was pretty cloudy and they eventually got cold, but they had a lot of fun. (I managed to get a pretty good sunburn despite the clouds and sunscreen!)

Tongue River Cave

We made a picnic this morning and Suzy drove us north to hike to the Tongue River Cave. When we got there we realized no one had brought the sandwiches and fruit! So we dined on chips and cookies before our strenuous climb to the cave (Suzy waited at the bottom). Fun! Tiring!

Bryce Fly Fishing

Bryce went with fishing with grandpa to learn how to fly fish.  This is his first of many fish he caught under his excellent teacher.
Of course grandpa caught a bigger fish.

Happy Independence Day from Sheridan!
