After seeing your first post of table sliding we tried to make shift us one too. Didn't work so well. Makes me want to go out and by a coffee table just for this.
This was the top of an old desk, I wanted it for the top of a craft table supported by a couple dressers but we don't have the space. It slides nicely behind a couch for storage.
