I won't overload the blog with all of the photos and videos I took this week of our musical kids, but here is a glimpse of what we have going on:
BEN
- practicing for the musical Clue that will be performed this Wednesday to Saturday
- accompanied a duet at the high school's Dessert Concert
- competed at the state level with two different choirs (one of them received highest scores)
- auditioned for a part in the community play (Joseph and the Amazing...)
- accompanied for two friends who tried out for the play, too
- tomorrow he has a piano recital
RACHEL
- helped teach TaVaci classes and helped at the concert yesterday
- sang with the Young Women in their sacrament meeting program today, including a solo of Celebrating the Light that sounded great
DANIEL
- performed in the TaVaci concert yesterday, including a drum solo in Born to Be a Scout, and a vocal solo in Firework
EMMA and JOSEPH
- attended their last Let's Play Music class of their first year (well, Joseph didn't technically "attend", but he watched from the top of the stairs and hiding behind the couch; I don't push it)
- getting ready for their recital this Friday
PLUS, Rachel and Ben went to the 5 stake dance last night. They did the Boot Scootin' Boogie there and still had it in their bones because they started doing it in the family room tonight. Daniel picked up on to really quick and Emma and Joseph were doing their best. Don't worry. This is the extent of their exposure to country music.)

Hope I'll be able to move like that again someday - looks like fun!!!
